The First Presbyterian Church of Angus was organized in June of 1881.  The first service was held at the Angus railroad depot.  Reverend Crum was the first pastor.  Services were held in the school house and members conducted services in absence of a pastor.  The church was built in 1890.  For many years there was no resident pastor.  During the summer months, seminary students came to help.

In 1939, Reverend F. Hubbord of Crookston, MN, conducted services every Sunday evening for which he received five dollars.

The First Presbyterian Church of Tabor was organized on August 4, 1884 with 24 members.  Meetings were held in a "cream station".  A Synodical missionary Drene Adams, after whom Adams Prebytery was named, served Valcav Losa, a theological student as the first pastor.

In 1891 a new church was build.  For several summers, students supplied the church.  In 1896 the Reverend F. Dobias became the first resident pastor.  Others who served were: Vaclov Vavrina, W. Stule, Jim Burvian, F. Sintak, Irving Thompson, and J. Witherspoon.

The articles of incorporation for the Angus-Tabor Presbyterian Church were adopted on January 8, 1952. On March 30, 1952 the Angus and Tabor Presbyterian Churches merged, and built a new church building that year.

On May 14, 1998, lighting stuck the Angus-Tabor Church, burning in beyond repair.  The congregation met in the Town Hall until a new building was completed in 1999.

In 1968, it became evident that Angus and Euclid could not support a pastor.  After meeting with the Grace Methodist Church in Warren, it was agreed on June 9,1969 to share a pastor with the three churches.
